Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient‑focused Nurse Practitioner to join our anesthesia care team. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering safe, high‑quality anesthesia services in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced anesthesiologists and perioperative staff in a modern, well‑supported clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre‑anesthesia evaluations and obtain patient medical histories
- Assist in developing and implementing anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia under the direction of a supervising anesthesiologist
- Monitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthetic levels as needed
- Manage airway support, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability
- Perform post‑anesthesia assessments and ensure safe recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Participate in quality assurance, safety initiatives, and team meetings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted AA license in [State]
- Certification by the NCCAA (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience in anesthesia or perioperative care preferred
